Target Design Challenge > Group Project > 24 Hours

Target’s Pillowfort approached SCAD with a 24 hour design competition

We were given the prompt to create a product that embraces diversity, inclusivity, discovery, gender ambiguity and playfulness. 

We were to design a product that would suit the Pillowfort brand which would appeal to Millennial Parents and fit in the target market’s price point.

 

Based on research findings and studying the intended target market we created personas that would best represent them.

Muskan and Arman

Muskan is 5 ½ years old. She likes bugs and her favorite bedtime story is ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’. She enjoys making smileys on her pancakes with chocolate syrup. She likes to make paper boats and set them free in the pond when she goes to feed the ducks.

Arman is a 33 years old single dad, living with his daughter in Pittsburgh. He works as a Computer Science Specialist for the government. He enjoys playing football with his guys at the park and loves eating Pirogues. He tries to spend as much time with Muskan as possible. His major concern is that she lacks a strong female presence in her life.
